Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Mariciк met with Tomas Strazay, director of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association.

- Slovakia gives strong political support for the start of our negotiations with the European Union, as confirmed at today's meeting with Tomas Strazay, director of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association.

At the meeting, in a friendly atmosphere, the continuous commitment of the Slovak Republic to our European integration processes was emphasized, with special emphasis on the support that took place within the National Convention for the European Union in North Macedonia in recent years.

At the meeting, in the presence of the Ambassador of Slovakia to the country, HE Henrik Marcus, through a constructive conversation, we also reviewed the importance of the reform process, especially in the field of corruption, focusing on the experiences of Slovakia, which has been an EU member for 17 years and where the fight against corruption is still ongoing.
