Maricik: Australia supports North Macedonia's progress towards the EU

The Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European affairs, Bojan Maricik, had a meeting with the ambassador of Australia, based in Belgrade, Daniel Joseph Emery, where they discussed several current political topics from the country and the region, as well as the impact of the war in Ukraine on the security situation.

- Australia also provides support for the progress of North Macedonia, and Emery expressed a sincere desire for our country to progress towards the European Union with the expectation that the French proposal will be accepted and we will finally formalize the European integration process, Deputy Prime Minister Maricik pointed out at the meeting.

Deputy Prime Minister Maricik, together with Ambassador Emery, expressed commitment to intensifying bilateral contacts and communication between the two countries, in order to provide an incentive for cooperation in various fields, with an emphasis on strengthening economic relations.
