At today's joint press conference of Deputy Prime Minister Maricik and the German special envoy for the countries of the Western Balkans, Sarazzin, when asked by a journalist whether the decision on the French proposal is being rushed, Maricik replied that it cannot be said that it is being rushed in a situation in which 17 years we have been waiting for the start of negotiations.
The Deputy Prime Minister further said that the coalition partners in the Government have not yet spoken out against the new proposal, there are those who are thinking that they are still in the consideration phase, in the consultation phase, but according to him, in the coming days, without too much delay, a decision has to be adopted.
- We respect that and act towards every political entity in the coalition with respect and we are pointing out the arguments of the dilemmas and try to clarify them and explain them and not allow them to base their position on incorrect information, misinformation or propaganda, but to base their position on the documents we have and on the process guaranteed by our allies and friends in the EU, added Deputy Prime Minister Maricik.
