- The opening of accession negotiations with our country and Albania is crucial as confirmation that the EU enlargement process is alive, said State Secretary Drita Abdiu Halili at the meeting with the Estonian delegation led by Marika Linntam, Director General of the Directorate for European Affairs at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The State Secretary stressed that the EU reform process remains our priority and we are ready to double our efforts to further implement the EU Agenda in order to maintain the positive portfolio of our country, enable further strengthening of the coordination mechanism and strengthen the leading role of the negotiation process and attracting professionals in it.
- We have in mind and we especially appreciate the fact that Estonia is one of our most important and vocal partners providing unconditional support for our EU accession, demonstrated on many occasions in the Council, including the Friends of Enlargement Group, said State Secretary Abdiu Halili.
