The Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs, Bojan Maricik today in front of the future diplomats from the Federal Republic of Germany, who are currently having training in our country, stressed the importance and role of diplomacy in strengthening trust and cooperation to build a more secure future.
- Diplomats have a special responsibility when it comes to strengthening trust and dialogue, as well as a duty to work on establishing a new mechanism for communication between states and nations, in line with new global circumstances. If we work together, we can not lose, we can only win, Deputy Prime Minister Maricik told young diplomats.
He pointed out that in times of great political turbulence and changes in international relations, young people need to get acquainted with the developments around them, the political challenges the countries are facing and briefly referred to the course of the country's Euro-Atlantic integration, pointing out that the Prespa Agreement is a real example of how diplomacy, good political will and the application of European values can resolve any dispute, any issue, and strengthen bilateral relations in the direction of friendship and cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Maricik wished the future ambassadors, foreign ministers, and young leaders who will have a chance to contribute to building a better world for all people and all nations a good stay in Skopje, successful training, and a successful diplomatic career after the training.
